Are we allowed to talk about Knights vs. Robots yet?

The answer is "no", but we just can't help ourselves. Our upcoming title is called "Knights vs. Robots" and we couldn't be more excited to share it with our amazing fans!

The above image shows off a little of our new style along with a glimpse at the animosity between these two factions; you can just cut the tension with a knife around here. Come back soon for new images, concepts, and prose as we work hard to deliver this awesome title to your iOS device!

Thoughts and Such

Ok, so it's been a little while. We know that you missed us, or at least you're very good at feigning sadness. Either way, we are officially back and very excited to share our new project...

...but not quite yet. Thank you for checking in and we'll be in touch soon!

Wanna hear the new and improved Hero Defense OST??!

Then boy do I have a deal for you!! Just send $455.67 to me and I'll send you the link to the soundtrack. Or you could just click here.

Either way is fine with me... but I really hope you choose the first option! As more maps get added more music will be as well.

Thanks,

Nate

Burnwood

Burnwood is the new playable map in the Wizard update. It features two gates right next to the player's castle and a strong bottleneck at the bottom of the screen.

It also demonstrates how campfire carelessness can have dire results.

Apple Woes

I am very sad to announce that after 4 weeks of waiting, Apple has rejected our App submission, meaning the much awaited 1.01 update to Hero Defense has to go back to the end of the line and politely wait its turn.

I'm sure many of you are left wondering "Why did this happen?", and "Why is Apple so mean?". I wish I had an answer for you. I did, however, think it would be appropriate to let you know why Apple turned us down in the first place -

- because we included the word "Warcraft" in our search terms. Yup, that's it. They could have easily taken the word out themselves and continued through the process of reviewing our app. They also could have sent us an email requesting the change and continue with the review process. Instead, they took the easiest way out and just flat out denied us (they are also refusing to answer our emails on the subject).

Gentle listener, I personally apologize for the stall in this process. We at Brilliant Worlds are highly focused on making Hero Defense the best hero defense game on the iPhone, and we promise to continue to provide robust updates based on community feedback...

...I guess, as long as Apple lets us.
